It is very expensive to advertise during the SuperBowl. The reason for that is because a lot of people watch the SuperBowl and it reaches all different demographics. That is why ads are so expensive during the SuperBowl. Social Media is very similar because it reaches consumers year round and almost everyone uses social media. Also People talk about the SuperBowl Commercials weeks after it airs. That is just like Social Media. If something on Social Media is interesting and goes viral people will be talking about it for a long time. Another similarity is preparation. Teams work together for months to reach the Superbowl and have the glory in being in the spotlight. The teams change their strategy each week. Just like Businesses on Social Media. Businesses look what interest consumers and will change there approach week by week on social media. Lastly there are winners and losers. During the SuperBowl the team that comes together and is most prepared usually wins. That is just like Businesses in Social Media. People in a company have to come together and think of the best way to get there product to have more attention than the competitors.
